Dreamer, Storyteller, and a Visual Artist from India
I spent my formative years in the city of joy – Kolkata and inherited my father’s love for cinema and music. I was naturally drawn to visual storytelling mediums. The canvas was my favorite toy as a child. After graduating from the Government College of Art and Craft, Calcutta, with a gold medal in Graphic Design, I dabbled in corporate gigs with top IT companies for some years. However, I always longed to be in the world of cinema.
I took to directing a short film called The Paper Boy and a couple more to explore the different facets of filmmaking. I then shifted to Mumbai to make a serious switch to the movie business this time. I got my first break as a Storyboard Artist with Fox Star Studios for Dil Bechara. Since the success of my first project, there was no looking back. I went on to work with Yash Raj Films, Dharma Productions, Madras Talkies, Abundantia Entertainment, Clean Slate Films, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Pooja Entertainment, and more.
I am living my passion for storytelling each day while working with exemplary filmmakers across India. I draw inspiration from Satyajit Ray and Abanindranath Tagore and one day aspire to take my craft to the global stage.
